Strange skin

Why Hello there. Merry Christmas and all that jazz.

I was wondering if anyone could give me some advice on my skin.

1. It's dry on the forehead, top of cheeks and nose.

2. On the bottom of the apple of my cheeks I'm prone to very small white spots.

3. Its slightly greasy to the touch, about 2 hours after washing it.

4. Any foundation tends to cake after a while.

I don't think its that sensative, but does anyone have any reccomendations as to what I could do to stop my foundation caking so much and gettimg my skin in good nick. I sometimes go for weeks without wearing foundation or powder to let it breathe, but it doesn't work.

Any ideas ladies and gents?

Any responses much appreciated.

Whenever I have had a skin/facial problem, I go to the Clinique counter. They are able to help assess your issues. If it was super serious, I would say to go the derm, but this sounds pretty normal.

i totally agree with hilly...the best thing to do is just go to clinique..they've seen it all, they'll definitely be able to help!

VI5 does have a good point; what products are you currently using? It sounds like you may have combo, dehydrated skin. Gentle cleanse/tone is a must regardless of your skin type. Do you exfoliate on a regular basis? A good moisturizer and plenty of water will help prevent your foundation from caking.

I would also say it sounds like you have dry to combination skin. Also just to add that a good primer does wonders at making foundation go on smooth and stay looking great.
