Stuido Fix=breakouts :(

Does anybody else have this problem?
I think I have narrowed down my recent breakouts to my studio fix!

I stopped wearing most face make up because I was having so many facial surgeries (dog bite

) And now that I'm pretty healed, I started to wear my studio fix again, and my skin looks awful!

When i wasn't wearing it, my skin was fine, now it isn't!

Does anyone else have this problem with MAC foundations?
Any other brand recommendations?

Also, my Studio Fix is rather new. Only 2 months probably. I don't have the receipt, but now I want to return it! I shouldn't have to waste $25 (times two, because I bought two colors) if it is going to make my face break out!
Should I try the Natural MSF's?

Studio Fix sometimes does that to some people's skin. I would suggest trying a different foundation.

...sorry to hear that you're breaking out =[ ...but what do you apply studio fix with?...do you use the sponge that comes with it?....if you do, that might be the source of breaking out...that little sponge could carry a lot of bacteria! (eeeek!!)...but i would recc. using a brush to apply and then ofcourse doing routine washings of your brushes...hope this helps!

i had the same exact problem with my studio fix. it broke me out in like 3 days .... even though i did use a brush to apply it.
i figured out i was allergic to the silica or something in the foundation

i returned it though without a problem, even though i didnt have the box and it was used somewhat, but i did have the receipt. i exchanged it for a few e/s

First off, I'm so sorry to hear about your surgeris, hang int here sweetie.
Onto the problem at hand, I agree that it might be your sponge causing the breakouts. Also, more times than not I find out customers break out from it because the cleanser they are using isn't breaking the product down and removing it properly. That is another thing to consider. MAC cleansers are makeup removers as well. What kind of cleanser do you use?
As far as returning it, without a reciept and so long after you purchased it you might have a hard time returning it anywhere. At best you might get an exchange.

that happened to me and then I took a break from it and thought maybe I was imagining it and started using it again. Within a week I had a major breakout - 7 or 8 cystic eruptions. That never happened to me, maybe once a month I'll get a zit maybe two - but never over my entire face. I quit using StudioFix (the powder compact) and it went away immediately. FYI - I threw the sponge away when I first bought it and I use a buff brush to apply (like my Mineral Make-Up). I haven't had a problem with any of the other foundations and I've tried the StudioFix Fluid and HyperReal.

I use Murad.
Should that cause any problems?!

That shouldn't cause any problems. Honestly, it's probably just something in the studio fix that doesn't agree with you.

I've had the same issues. I've had to stop using mine ... so sad, though. I really wanted to love it.
