I am so lost when it comes to new music! I got stuck in a rut a few years ago. I'll tell you some things I like (I like a wide range of stuff) and don't like, and you can suggest stuff for me:

On the fence about GaGa. Love her live stuff, don't like the radio tracks as much but they're damn catchy.

I think it's called "screamcore" (where the singer is hoarsely yelling and you can't understand any of the words)
Three Days Grace
Avril Lavigne
System of a Down
A Perfect Circle

Sadly I only like the majority of the singers you listed in your "Dont like" list.
But since your on the fence with Gaga, her newer album has some songs with a bit of a 90's vibe

So you could listen to a few of those

Um, The Noisettes seem to have a similar sound to The Ting Tings so you could check them out too
