Hi All,

I'm new to Specktra and I'm loving in. But I need some help from some fellow makeup artists. I am doing a bridesmaid and she is a tan-aholic. She's in her late 40's with "orange-y and very "leathery" skin. Can any and all please give me some suggestions on trying my best to match her skin and making her look good, and in the end not giving myself a bad rep.

thanks ladies and gents. I really appreciate it.

If her skin is quite leathery, I would be inclined to use something light on the skin such as a tinted moisturiser or Estee lauder double wear light...

If she's a tan-holic, something like the Guerlain Terracotta Spray can enhance her tan. Or something like a tinted moisturizer or Armani's Face Fabric. If she looks orange because of artificial tanning, she'll end up orange anyway.

If she has leathery skin, I'd advise against Double Wear Light because it tends to make skin slightly drier and can let her become even more leathery.

Avoid shimmer on her skin! Give her a nice even, matte finish. If shes orange I'd avoid anything peach/coral which will just emphasize the orange tones. I'd go neutral on the eyes/cheeks/lips with mauves/soft browns and beiges.
