Sundressing Denim look (using dupes of Gold Dusk & Softwash Grey)

I had to post this while I wait to receive my sundressing pigments next week. I have seen a lot of photos of each pigment and from what I have been told by others who have them in hand to compare, Gold Dusk is not even as pretty as Sweetscents Satin Slipper. Satin Slipper is one of the most beautiful pigments that I have ever used- I use it often.

Softwash Grey is similar to what I have here, although I have mixed a very close dupe using two other sweetscents pigments. Once I have the actual MAC grey in hand, I will be able to fine tune it to be exact.

For now, however, the sundressing duo inspired me to try this look with demin yesterday. I was surprised at how pretty it turned out.

I added Midnight Flash liner from Clarins which is an exact match to softwash grey pigment in color after taking this photo and it looked even more beautiful.

I like this combo, which I thought would be boring when I first saw sundressing from MAC a while ago.

I also LOVE Rose Scenario on you!! I always used to try this on at Sephora, but it never showed up on my pigmented lips. It really suits you!

It is nice to have on those days when I really want a natural look, but my crazy bent of being an artist can not stand just neutral- so the violet blue shimmer of Rose Mirage or the lime shimmer of Rose Scenario satisfies both of those requirements! HAHAH

Most of the time, though, I find myself opting for other slightly brighter colors.

I wish we could still get Dior here- I love Rose Scenario and Rose Mirage too.

In this case, I put Frostlite on my lower rims, something I do not normally do, but this time, I think it really looked great with the colors of shadow, etc.

I did not expect to like this look as much as I did when I did it the other day.

I really want to see what you did too.

For some reason, after the site shut down yesterday, none of my pictures will link correctly.

I uploaded another one so you can see it, hopefully this will last........

Yay! I got to see the picture. It's very nicely done. I wore the new MAC pigments today. The yellow didn't impress me. The grey one did. I don't know if it is enough to make me buy an entire jar though. Thank you for sharing!

I have been told that the Sweetscents Satin Slipper is even nicer than MAC Gold Dusk, which would not surprise me.

Satin Slipper is not like any pigment I have ever tried. I just LOVE the texture of it.

I might end up getting rid of Gold Dusk, but time will tell.
