I wouldn't say it's really chunky but it's not so smooth either but a very pretty shade, not sure if there is an e/s like it.

It is really chunky. I only swatched it in the store, but it reminded me of copper sparkle or rose (both of which I hate the fallout from) so I passed on it. It really flaked off and made a mess. I just didn't like the colour enough to mess with it.

yea its about the same texture as rose...also it was compared to Haze. I saw a pic on LJ of it comepared to haze and its a dead ringer imo

If you use Fix+ or Mixing Medium, it makes the chunkier pigments a LOT easier to work with, but it does give a more intense, metallic-y look.

^ hi...to me gold dusk looks like it is in between ricepaper and nylon shadows (darker than nylon but slightly lighter than ricepaper). it's good b/c it's not too light to use as a lid color....plus it gave me something to wear iris print from culturebloom with

i think over in the swatch gallery there is a good pic of gold dusk next to nylon if you want to check that out.

I suppose it's chunky like Rose, but not hard to work with. I was going to pass on it, but it looks so pretty IRL that I bought it anyway, and it didn't seem too similar to other colors. (Idol Eyes might be close, I haven't swatched it yet, but the texture of IE is not impressive.)

I havn't found either one to be difficult to work with, to me Softwash Grey is alot easier to apply than Rose.

I have them both and love them more than anything ! They're not chunky on me at all. I put them over top of 'shimma' paint and its very pretty

I love gold dusk on the cheeks! So nice....But I really don't care for purples at all so I didn't get soft wash grey just a sample =)

sorry but Softwash grey is PITA to work with IMO. I don't know what other pigment it reminds me of texture wise but I used it yesterday and it does not go on smooth. I tried using it wet on my other eye and the made it a bit easier to use but not by much.

Oh Gold dusk totally reminds me of a e/s I have. I'll have go through my stash and see what the name is...
