Love 'em both, but they both have their flaws.... I tend to think of Sushi flower as "blusher for eyes" rather than an eyeshadow, if that makes sense, because of the sheerness, I tend to use it as a wash and use another colour if I'm wanting a block of solid hot pink on my lid (I have a great Pure Luxe pigment that works brilliantly with Sushi Flower, it's like a glittery version of SF and a shade or two darker, can find out the name if you like..... or if I don't mind a bit of bluish/purplish shimmer in a "hot pink" look I will use Stars n Rockets instead).
Passionate is another great shadow but its flaw is that it suffers from the weird texture that most of the mattes have, and can be a bit tricky to apply, After reading here that the MAC matte shadows go on smoother over a base of a Veluxe Pearl shadow, I sometimes use (again!) Stars 'n Rockets to prep the lid if I'm doing something strong and dramatic with lots of Passionate - the SnR underneath makes Passionate a tad pinker, but I find that fine.
