I've tried searcing for pictures but havn't been able to find anything clear.
I'd really like to see clear pictures showing the colour well of -

Powerpoints - Bordeauxline, Permaplum, Tealo

Fluidliners - Shade, Macroviolet

Also the question which i'm sure has been done to death but i simply cannot make my mind up - Which is better, Powerpoint or Fluidline?
I feel i'd get on better with pencil liners but then again i've never tried a fluidline so can't judge very well. I've heard so many good things about Fludiline but i guess one of the thing that's keeping me from wanting is the fact that when i've seen pictures of people wearing Fludiline, the line is always very thick and obvious liner looking which looks nice on other people but i have small eyes which would look ridiculous if the liner is thick and really obvious looking. I suppose it can depend on the brush used but maybe it's also to do with the texture if it is thick?

Thankyou

Have you looked @ www.legacycollection.org/mac ?

IMHO the Fluidlines are much more better than the Powerpoints!
I have a PP in Gilded White and I dont use it...
If you use the right brush the f/l line can be very very thin...and its very easy to use...

The fluidlines are definitely better, in terms of texture and application. If you don't think you can manage a fine pointed brush (MAC #211), you could always try a squared super flat one(MAC #212) which is easy to use for thin lashline looks, but not so hot for curvy swoops.

I had trouble applying the fluidline with the mac 266 slanted brush. I purchased the Stila #4 short handled brush and I love it. The fluidline stays on SO much better than anything else I have tried. I like using the short handle brush for fluidline because you can get closer to the mirror.

FLUIDLINES ROCK!Hands down the BEST liner I have ever had the pleasure of owning! I even paid FULL PRICE for my Dipdown and my Blacktrack *GASP* and I am happy to say they are worth EVERY penny! They are easy to apply and very versatile (hard or soft line).

Wow Glitziegal those pics are great! Thankyou.
Is Macroviolet as dark a purple as Permaplum Powerpoint is? Because i want a deep purple like that.

Thanks to everyone's replies. Sigh..i kinda knew you'd all say Fluidline is the way to go. I'm just scared i'll pay for one and never be able to get much use out of it.

honestly I just bought my first fluidline today. I had always been hesitant before because I didn't think that I'd use them. Something about them just seemed weird to me.

But now that I've bought it and tried it I'm in love. I kind of feel like kicking myself for not buying one earlier the way they go on is amazing compared to any eyeliner I've had before. Of course this is just my opinion everyone is different.

Are these easy to use? I have a short handled 266 brush (from tailormade brush set). I'm not very good at putting on eyeliner because I don't use it often. I'm ok at applying powerpoints though.

they are pretty easy to use, but you need to practice on making a thin line. I learned pretty fast, simply because they are so much fun!!! I have to say that the se166 is not even half as good as the normal one, because it's less fine and the bristels are less soft. I love the se166 for my eyebrows though!!

hmm..i would have to say that the control for the powerpoints are a lot easier but..the fluidliners do take a lil bit of practise..but overall..fluidliners do rock
