Sweetiecake Petit Glosses

I haven't been hardcore into MAC for the last little while, and missed out on some stuff. I found out that my counter still has all 3 petit glosses from Sweetiecake. I did a search but didn't see too much about people's opinions on these. How are they? Are they sticky? Is the colour really strong in them, or do they go on slightly opaque? Yay or nay?

TIA

They are pretty sheer, so I like to use them over lipstick. I think they are so cute and it makes them hard to use, haha. When they first came out I heard a lot of people talking about them and purchasing them, but it has definitely died down. They are sort of a pain because you have to use a brush to apply them (unless you don't mind using your finger) so they are not good for on the go looks. But I think they are super cute, that's why I got one and they are good for some shine and a slight tint.

i actually think they give good color payoff. they're kind of a mix between a lipgelee and a lipstick, but in a firmer, pot form. i thought they looked awful when they first came out, but was able to get a good deal on all three, BNIB, through a user on LJ. the designs are super cute, but they get swirled together. the gloss itself can be applied with your finger, or a brush, and gives decent coverage, decent color, and can be altered slightly in appearance by swirling the "icing" with the actual gloss. they're not as sticky as, say, lipglasses. my favorite use so far has been to use prep and prime lip, a nude liner (whirl) to fill in my entire lips, then top with one of the petit-glosses. here's swatches. this is just ONE layer of each color, to give you some idea of their color payoff.

See, that's what they looked like when I swatched them, but on my lips there s hardly any payoff.
I'm NW15 or so, but lips are very highly pigmented, so that's probably why they are more sheer on me.

I actually really loved these! They look really unique & I agree they have a really good color payoff. I would get them if my counter still had them.
