Technique Classes

I am going to my first one soon and it's focus is on eyes. I am really curious if anyone has go to one of these classes and their overall experience.

Did you learn a lot? Do you wear just fondation there? Do they provide the brushes to use?

Any info would be great.

I attended a technique class at the Macy's MAC Counter here and they had set up a stage in the mall right outside Macy's. We didn't have to bring anything and they gave us a little handout with pencil. The MUA pick a girl from the crowd and did a demo with her on stage. We all took notes and asked questions. There wasn't much hands on for us. We did get eyes/lips/cheeks done at the counter after the demo for free.

I learned a lot about what different brushes are good for and different techniques that can be used. All in all, a good time was had by all.
