Yum sounds delish!

Will someone put down a recipe for a potato dish?

One day I'm going to visit the US and eat my way through the states

My mom makes the BEST stuffing in the world! Unfortunately for me though, I have to go to my fiancee's family's dinner in MA (we live in CT!) which really sucks. I have a really close family and he's not all that close to his family so I really think it's unfair *pouts*

OH man!! I have to share holidays too.. Last year I had 3 places to be on christmas! it sucked! my BEST friend ever, is married and she has been home for the holidays once in like 5 years.. she hates it because her hubby makes her spend every holiday with his family and she misses hers dearly. its not really fair. His family thru a fit last year when they came to CA for xmas we found it amusing. haha

my mom calls thankgiving "fat day" because its the one day you Can eat like a pig (like stated above) and not feel to guilty about it!!

Yeah I love everything as well and I'm NOT kidding LOL. But, I think I love the stuffing the best. My mom puts some stuffing inside the turkey so it soakes up all the juice and ummmm is it good! I really like the cranberry as well. Not the chunky kind with the cranberrys inside but the kind that comes in the can, yyuuuummm!

Every year I share Turkey Day with my family and my mans family but this is the last year were doing this cause were moving to another state at the end of January. As of next year, were starting our own traditions but it's not going to be the same without my family! Guess it's all part of growing up and haveing your own family.

Lol, this is so crazy for me because Canada has Thanksgiving like a month earlier than the States. It's nice because you have enough time to get unfat before Christmas comes and you do it all again! My favourite food is when you take the mashed potatoes and put turkey and gravy on them and mix it all around. Heaven. I am the hugest potato fiend.

Mmmmmm canned cranberry sauce!!!!!! I always buy extra cans to take back with me to school b/c I find that I just CANNOT eat turkey without it anymore. I would always bring back soooo much friggin leftovers, only to find myself just miserable when I realized there was no C.B. sauce

I mean forreal it would just ruin all the excitement of coming [from class or rehearsal] to a big plate of mom's cookin---with NO cranberry sauce!!!

Oh yes, I also LOVE my mom's homemade turkey gravy...plus dinner/Hawaiian sweet rolls!!!
