Thanks for the help to embed my photos!
I just posted this on MUA and thought you might enjoy it here too.
WARNING- I love color so if you are offended by color, move on to another thread!
Had some fun for a couple of days and experimented with some new techniques.
Day 1 has two new techniques I came up with.
First is the eyes. When using a bright eyeshadow, I like to inner rim line the outer corner of my eye with a dark fluidline (only one that stays put on me) so this time I used non conformist and inner rim lined the last third of my lower and top lid
After that, I brought the line up from the outer corner of my eye so that it looks like the line is one continuous line.
I tried to capture it in the photos, but as usual, it looks much better in person. Also in one photo is my new really cool aqua rim glasses I told you guys I would post photos of.
The other thing I played with is putting darker lipstick on the upper lip and a lighter lipstick on the bottom lip in the same family.
The effect is magical and makes the pouty thing really come alive. The camera makes it look more obvious than it is in real life- you can not tell, in person right away, but the effect is that of the pouty lip.
DAY TWO was a fun experiement with colors and hair that I have never used before.
I took the coppery red hair with coppery Rich Ground and then blended it with chartreuse and brilliant red and magenta colors.
Usually the combination does not work too well, but when I wore this yesterday, everyone went nuts over it and said that they loved it.
Heads were turning constantly and my husband kept laughing because it is so funny how a few changes in color and appearance can make people change their attitude toward you.
The photos did not capture the glow and intensity of this look very well. It really looked amazing. So, a photo is better than nothing, so I am sharing these with you.
AGAIN NONE OF THESE PHOTOS CAPTURE THE BLEND- CAMERAS TEND TO MAKE CONTRASTS LOOK MORE STARK THAN THEY ARE. THESE LOOKS WERE MUCH MORE GLOWY AND NOT AS STARK AS THE CAMERA MAKES THEM LOOK.
Just wanted to make sure you all understand that, as it frustrates me that I can not capture the reality of the looks better with a camera yet.
