hello everyone how are u all? i just wanted to share how eager and excited i once agian am for MAC in this new year....with collections that look and sound dynamic (raquel, barbie, baloonacy, chrome & creme) it has made me feel sooooo excited, i havent been this excited since madame B.!!! Its not that i hated the collections that came out this year, its that we had so many come our in so little time i promise i havent used some of the colors of past collections. Which i cant belive cuz im such a mac addict! i havent bought stuff from the new collections for a while with the exception of the glitter liners...here's to a wonderful mac year!!!

I know what you mean--I have been so unexcited about everything MAC recently I was starting to think I was "cured" of this whole MAC craziness but now it looks like MAC is pulling me back in:eek2:

I haven't been as excited about a collection in a long time as I am for the Icon: Raquel Welch. Pretty much everything from that collection will be mine lol

I'm also really curious about Balloonacy or w/e. It looks like such a unique concept!

So far, I'm excited about everything, even Chrome & Cream. and although I'm not sure I'll like many of the Icon colors, the packaging enough is worth it!

the icon collection with the tiger print packaging is going to back me broke. The pics featured in allure are so vibrant and complmentary to my skin tone I wont be able to resist. And my inner 7 year old is screaming inside to get that barbie. BTW does anyone know the release dates on any of these? I've been searching to no avail. Thanks

I feel the exact same way. In the past year I've only bought three eyeshadows from the new collections and the two MSF's from Danse. At least I saved msyelf some money

The new stuff really does look amazing, I can't wait!

I am looking forward to the Icon (since my name is Raquel too and the collection is just gorgeous!) as well as the Natural MSFs and the liquid Mineral Foundation!

Also the Barbie and the Ballonacy collection too!!! Yay!

I liked "Rockocco" and "Untamed" from late 2006, but many 2006 collections left me underwhelmed.
I'm so glad that "Barbie" comes out blinkin' NEXT WEEK!
I can hardly wait for "Balloonacy," either!
It's so nice to see some color coming back!!!
I don't want to look like a clown, of course, but there's only so much that a woman with Elizabeth Taylor coloring can do with nudes ...
