The best contour shade

I am looking for that "best friend" contour shade ...the one that you can go to for everything! Any suggestions? Must be able to wear day and night.

I am NC30 for reference.

I hear that Mac's Emote is really popular. Unfortunately I think it was LE but you may be able to get one on ebay

i'm NC35 and I also missed the ever-popular emote bus. However, a MA at my local counter suggested Harmony. I don't know if that's too dark for you, but its a half shade darker I think. It works pretty well for me.

I use Harmony and I love it! Just make sure not to get too much on your brush if you're pale like me

i like mac blush in BLUNT, its a medium matte warm brown and i can use it with any blush on anyday, even alone its natural looking since its matte

I would get Make Up For Ever's Compact Modeler, it helps create the illusion of shadow better than any blush I've ever used.

a matte brown color would work best. not sure what mac has for that, but i'd use those guidelines
