The Blonde Bombshell Look That Ended Up in the City Paper!- NOW BETTER PHOTOS

Hi all,
Here is what has been called the blonde bombshell look that I did a few months ago or so for Makeup Alley FOTD.

I ended up being featured in the city paper in a very hard to get spot in the Sunday paper (very large circulation) for my paintings.

They needed a photo very quickly that would print well and my camera was a dinosaur so none of the nice canned photos would work for them.

I almost lost the chance to be in the paper in this coveted position when I finally raided the files of makeup alley FOTD's and sent them one of these.

I managed to get it to a format that they could print and it was put in the paper.

It is funny because a few of the people who saw me in there and then meet me in real life freak out because I do not look just like this when they meet me.

Occupational hazard of being a makeup artist, I guess.. HAHAHA

This is a take off on the alexis vogel style of doing eyes with my own twist of course. Thought you might have fun looking......

Okay, here are some clearer photos- perhaps these will be easier to see. These were taken with a very old camera, so they are not as clear as they could be. Hopefully they are better than the composite above that I had to make for MUA.

I have to use a heavy base so it is really hard to blend like I can do easiliy without a base underneath sticking to everything

lips are really nice. i cant really see the eyes too much because its not a close up but u look pretty!!!

I wish I could figure out how to use my camera better so I can get better closeups. This was taken with a very old camera, but I had to dumb it way down because they do not allow large photos on MUA so the quality is way low.

I do not think that specktra has such rigid size limits so perhaps I can post some better photos.

I wish I had the time to really mess around and get the hang of this new camera. It sure would help, but I just don't for now

what i used to do (when i actually posted pics and closeups) was take the pics then crop the eyes out... so the pic is huge which means the eyes is huge and it looks like u took a closeup of the eye... its a trick... lol. it could be a little blurry though

I think I figured it out. I have had to pare down the .jpg files so small for MUA that I never posted larger photos.

Well, here I have more freedom so I have included better large photos on my other one and I will add one to this too......

HAHA You mean I can not upload a bulletin board sized pic of myself!!!???

At least I can have a bit more freedom than the MUA pics. I am thankful for that. It is so hard to have to make them so small!

i dont' know if you get this alot or not, but in some of your pics, you look like Naomi Watts. Mostly in your serious shots. i like the lipstick, it looks good.

That is the one that I had to put in the city paper when they featured me a few weeks ago. None of my other *regular* photos would work.

If I had not had my FOTD I would have missed the opportunity to be in the paper for my artwork.

YAHOO for FOTD PHOTOS!! They DO come in handy.
