The She Space (About Face) pigments

i'm interested in their ready-to-wear velvets. from their description, it seems like they're totally matte. but they seem to have a pearlized appearance according to the swatches above. so they're not totally dead matte?

i have a couple and when i put them on my eyes they are definitely VERY matte. when i made the swatches, i put them on wet, and really caked them on to make sure the color would show up on camera. when i did that, they did look slightly pearly. this surprised me since i've been wearing them (foiled and applied dry) and they're matte.

so i really don't think you have to worry about the pearl...these shadows look matte when applied to the eye...at least to me...
