I was wondering if anyone has some creative ideas for theme weekends. What do you guys do in other markets?

We do Viva Glam days a lot, when we all wear our Viva Glam t-shirts and lips and totally promote the lipsticks and lipglass. We also do LE days periodically if it's still laying around a bit after the launch, like Lingerie or Catherine or something. I'm working on getting our counter to do more interesting days like "Out of my comfort zone" day, when you wear a colour on your face that you would NEVER wear usually. Or for prom season, do a prom theme.

I went to the Launch of the Belle Azure, and had my make up done. It was alot of fun, the makeup was hot and I bought all the eye shadows and foundation, concealer, and mascara...but I couldn't drink because I was pregnant.. a lot of people were having a *really good* time.

One of the counters here always has theme Saturdays. Last weekend was a Culturebloom theme, but I've also seen them do a "camo" theme, a doll theme and a bunch others. I think it's cute.

When I was permanent at a counter, we did theme days every Saturday (our Product Specialist was a trip...she'd make individual baggies with all our props in them)...we did spring watercolor day (we actually got to dress in pale pastel colors...no black...and did our makeup with light spring colors...we also did parisian day (black berets, white shirts, a ribbon around our neck, red lips), bohemian day (white outfits...peasant skirts and off the shoulder blouses with espadrilles and lots of bronzer)...there are a few more that I can't remember right now, but I'll post them when I do...I'm sleepy!
