Thicker hair

I have very very thin hair and I was wondering if there was any possible way I could make my hair grow thicker and maybe grow more hair? I don't know if this is possible but I thought the best way to find out was to ask around. I'm not really talking about products to make your hair more volumised or look thicker, I'm talking about treatments that would effect hair growth.

Thanks

Castor oil works well for conditioning your hair and it's listed in an old folk medicine book for thickening your hair. My hair is pretty medium to thick so I'm not sure about the thickening part but it's a great conditioner. It took me FOREVER to find at CVS. It's actually in the suppository section. I guess internally you take it to make you go doo-doos.

Anyway to apply, I use a toothbrush and "brush" it into my scalp and then work it down the length of my hair. I leave it on overnight and wash it the next morning. It's kinda a pain to wash out so I usually wear my hair up the next day because there is usually still a tiny film but you'll be able to get it out the following shampoo day.

Hope this helps!

Yes, oil is very good for the hair as mentioned in the previous post. Almond oil is very good too, try adding a few drops of essential oils like Rosemary, Basil and Lavender, which are supposed to stimulate the follicles and promote growth. Massage into the scalp a couple of times a week and if you can leave on overnight, even better. Remember to put a shower cap on so that you don’t get any oil on your pillow and shampoo hair in the morning. In addition, Biotin supplements are another source of promoting hair growth.
