So I ended up liking this collection a lot more than I should have. I'm actually going back to MAC tomorrow to get Gold Veneer Nail Polish, Uppity and Red Romp. SAVE ME!

I bought a #187 MAC brush instead of the Face Brush Set for Holiday because I really only wanted that brush out of the whole set

Note: if you have really pink lips it really doesn't show up to well. It's nice to layer with some lipglasses though

I ordered online and didn't get Silversmith because when I had seen earlier pics it looked so blue. But on your swatch it looks more silver/grey and very pretty. Is it the lighting, what's your take on it?

It might be the lighting... but I don't think so. It's very blue, but when you move it around you can see the silver undertones set off by the silver veining in the shadow. I think it looks like a more silvery deep truth or blue storm.

But like with everything, I think you should swatch it yourself first. Nothing is better than the true color.

The shadows are SO PRETTY!! I only got Silversmith, but I really like the swatch of Engaging, and Family Silver is pretty too..I may have to go back for those two! Thanks for doing those swatches!

What brand are the other palettes? I really like that shadow. They look like they may be Laura Mercier, but of course, I cannot be sure....??
