This hot red lipstick...

Okay so I found this picture on the internet (from some Arabic makeup magazine) and I LOVE this lipcolor!

I attached the picture to this thread.

I know that it's Chanel Hydrabase liptick in Fire topped with Levres Scintillantes glossimer in Natural (also Chanel). I'm not crazy about the gloss, I couldn't find it on their website but I'm going to guess from the name that it didn't add much color, just shine.

So I'd like a cheaper alternative to the Chanel lipstick, but as close a match for the color (not the gloss, the actual lipstick) as possible.

I'm not asking for dirt cheap, but Chanel is $25 and that's a little out of my reach.

Even a MAC lipstick or something is do-able for me.

Any suggestions?

And thank you so much for reading

how about mac classic dame (from mattene) or ruby woo topped with a clear gloss? fresh moroccan might work...it has a bit of a gold shimmer.

It comes out slightly different on everyone, but Nixie's lipstain in Red Devil comes very close to that color (on me, at least).

I personally think that both ruby woo (especially) and russian red are most pink based than the one in the picture, well, at least on me lol. I highly recommend trying classic dame with warning lip varnish (it's pretty much the exact same color at the picture)
