thrift store help?

so i have some stuff i really want to sell but i hate ebay and can find nobody who wants it. so i was thinking a thrift store but i have no clue how that works so could someone help me? thanks

Consignment shops really deal with that sort of thing in my area, not so much the thrift stores (which usually have donated clothing for sale). If your items sell on consignment, you usually have to pay a percentage of the sale to the owner of the shop. I did this with a guitar once, it worked out well and I presume it's the same with clothing. Check in your local phone book under consignment shops, there might be some listings

There is some store here in South Carolina, called Platos closet. Don't know if they have one where you are. But, they buy your old clothes from you. And they sell people's old clothes. I saw it on t.v. It's geared mostly to younger people, because they take and sell name brand clothes.

Here is the address to one I think where you are, oh but they dont' open until April. Sorry.

oh thanks so much, it opens pretty soon! but does anyone know any websites (besides ebay) that is good for selling things?
