Tightlining.

What products would you recommend for tightlining? I've tried using regular eyeliner but it tickles (wtf?), and I've tried to using wet eyeshadow w/ an eyeshadow brush, but it doesn't stay well. If y'all could name any drugstore products that would be great!!

I've read a few other threads about it, but it all seems like MAC products, which I can't really afford right now/really know anything comparable lol.

Bodyshop's eyepencils are very good. I have one that's lasted me ages, and I'm still wearing it. The kohl pencils are wonderful there; you don't have to scrub it on as it transfers onto your waterline easily! Hope this helps.

a few drug store brands make "gel" eyeliners that come in a little pot. use those with a very thin angled brush

I like to use Laura Mericer's cake eyeliner or Bobbi Brown gel eyeliner for tightlining. Both hold up very well and if you use the right brush, you can get it right at the base of the lashes.

When I want the look without the fuss I use a really inky black Revlon Colorstay Eyeliner... I actually get ready at my computer so I set it on top of my warm computer 'til I'm ready to use it so it smudges on easily. I line the bottom and then immediately close my eyes for about 10-15 seconds to let the color transfer to the top lash line. Then I touch up with pencil or if I have enough product I just keep closing my eyes and letting it redistribute.

i've heard pretty good things about styli style eyeliners- though i have never used them because i haven't run across them.

i think they are available in some cvs drugstores, online and at sears.com. they're around $6 each.
