Tips for ID/License Photo!

Hey everyone! So I have to get a new ID/License since my old one is about to expire, and I want to make sure I can get the best possible photo. I need your help on some makeup tips and tricks for a good DMV pic!

On my old IDs, I noticed that everything gets washed out a bit, and any oil or shine on my skin is emphasized in the pics. So I think I need to find a good loose powder, but that's all I can think of...any suggestions? I'm thinking a natural look would be best, but would I probably need to wear more makeup than usual in order for it to stand out in the photo? Should I wear falsies? Any advice would be greatly appreciated

Don't use mineral make up, it reflects the light making your skin appear WAY paler. I'd say, if anything, stick to non-mineral mattes so your skin stays vibrant and true to color.

For my passport photo, I'm wearing really black eye make up and light pink lips without anything on cheeks (partially because most blushes reflect light).
Hope this helps somewhat.

I wore fake eyelashes, lots of bronzer, and made sure nothing on my face had SPF in it. I took a great picture!

A nice lipstick, not too dark and not to shimmery looks great. Like a deep rose or soft pink.

Yep,.. I got a great pic,.. I wore (maybe Engraved?) dark liner and false lashes,..just a hint of Nylon washed on the lid, Smashbox's Wet/Dry foundation powder (Is GREAT for pics) Breath of plum blush and Clinique's Pink Chocolate lippie and it come out killer,.. that was the year the license branch people cut out my photo when I went to renew it and asked if I wanted to keep it. Said that they rarely come out that good. My latest one is nearly as good but the angle of the pic is off,.. when will they learn that an "Up the nose" pic is not attractive??
