Not at all surprised. The single shadows have VERY little product for the cost. I was reading the TF thread on Sephora Beauty Talk and they were discussing it and doing the math. It seemed a bit crazy.

How very little? I'm waiting for them But if they're a way little, I need some time to think of buying them.
Little enough to make you feel like a fool, and so awkward to pry open, that I packed them up to return without even looking at them! How very little? I'm waiting for them But if they're a way little, I need some time to think of buying them.
I bought The Perfect Kiss lipstick during the Sephora sale and it just arrived.
I am in heaven! What a gorgeous bright strawberry red. It really IS perfect. So thankful I took the plunge!

Why do you want to return them? Because the quality is poor?
They're just not worth the price to me personally based on the size. I was expecting them to be small but when I saw them I was still taken back.
Wow, how small are they? I can't imagine them. I want 14 out of 30, but I should reconsider getting them.
WOW. That is small. He does describe them as clutch-sized, which is the same for the lips and boys/girls, but at least with those, the price/ounce is better than full-sized lipsticks. Has anyone done the math on these? So I couldn't contain my curiosity and pulled out my package again before going to the post office. They're actually very easy to open once you realize how to do it - just pull the little gold part forward. However...they are still just ridiculously small, the size of my thumb nail, and I have very short nails. They're sort of the eyeshadow equivalent of Lips & Boys.
Unless you can see them in person I would start with one and see what you think. Someone on Sephora Beautytalk who calculated said you'd have to buy 8.3 singles to get the amount of product you get in one of his quads.
