So, while I was leaving work yesterday I noticed that his new line, Youth Dew (or calssic re-worked), was finally on display. Excited from reading his interviews in Harpers Bazzar & W Magazine (not to mention the amazing photo spreads) I did an immediate about face to go check it out before heading out the door. I'd been waiting for this one! Well, I was pretty dissapointed. Sure the product was of fabulous quality, but I could get the colors from just about any other line. Oh well. Chalk another one up to paying big bucks for the name. He needs to go back to designing for Gucci... now that's something I'd really love!

I'm sure they did! I didn't try the perfume though. If it's still there on Tuesday when I go in I'll check that out. I'm always looking for a new fragrance.

The perfume smells like the original Youth Dew to me, but just slightly better. A very very heavy scent.

I still don't understand why he left Gucci to do this (of all things), I guess you need to go where the $$$ is.

Never mind that then. I can't take a heavy perfume.
I know. Gucci just doesn't thrill me like it used to.

If you get the chance, I'd say try it at a counter and see how it wears on you. You may like the dry down since it tends to smell different on all people.
