Even though we haven't got style black in the uk yet i still wanted to do a smokey gold eye. I think this turned out pretty well and i kept the lips quite neautral and didn't go dark. although all day people kept asking me if i thought it was too much makeup for work. hell no it's not!

It would've been too much for work if you would've paired a super dark lip.. but you kept it light and pretty. I love the eyes, sometimes the best combos are just 2 colors

I like it and it's not too much for work.
If you feel comfortable and you like it, than it's not too much

and Rach i am loving colour stay! it is sooo much better than the maybelline one i was using. better coverage, doesn't feel greasy on my skin and lasts a full working day! and i think the colour match is ok too!

I really like the eyes, I had a good 40 minute discussion with a girl in Currys yesterday about her eye makeup (it was immaculate!) whilst my dad was deciding which telephone to buy for his study and my mum was busy with the kitchen stuff.

If it looks good to you then do it! I like how you give your makeup names, it makes it so much easier for a noob like me to see what the look should look like.

Last thing I swear, have you ever tried getting your brows threaded? In my experience they give you a neater shape and it's easier to pluck them yourself between threads.

unfortunately where i live nobody does threding - it's either plucking or waxing. this is how my brows look after about 2 weeks so i don't think it's too bad. but one day i would love them threded!
