for those who travel a lot, can we put bar soap in the sandwich bag for carry on liquids? the website did say about liquid soap but not bar soap.

bar soap doesn't need bagged since its a solid. besides, if you bagged it, it would take up alot of room, not leaving much left for your other liquids that do need bagged.

Yep, bar soap doesn't have to be bagged-and it would take up way too much room if it did. Honestly, I am kinda glad that I don't fly because the regulations would be too much for me to handle.

I might buy the Chanel ziploc bag though that was made specifically for the purpose of the regulations though if I ever do.

If they dont accept the bar soap (some security guards do some dont) I dont think it matters if its put in a ziplock or not. Back in in maybe 2004 or so, a group of terrorists was found in the london airport carrying liquid (anything that can turn into liquid) explosives and bam no liquids on airplane.. so i dunno i guess it depends on how much oz the bar is.
