Traveling Make Up!

So I'm going overseas to the Philippines in a week or so, but the weather is gonna be HOT! 40 degrees if not, hotter.

So i need a foundation that will cover my very bad acne& acne scars without having to go crazy with concealer that will just melt on my face anyway. I'm tossing between M.A.C studio fix powder or liquid. What do you guys think?

Owe, and what make-up are the must have that you take with you on holidays?

Mine are: a good sunscreen ( i need to buy a new one)
waterproof eyeliner.
lucas' paw paw ointment
a good pinkish/redish lipstick (sorry i forgot what the name is )

usually when i travel to hot places for vacation... i dont wear much make up during the day coz you do a lot of activities , esp water sports or crazy things like that... i prefer using just moisturizer... so u might want to try tinted moisturizer w/ spf....

also im no expert but if u were really concerned about covering ur blemishes... me personally i would use powder bcoz philippines although i havent been there in 20 yrs i do remember is REALLLY HOT... and liquid might just not cut it... atleast powder is easy to reapply yenNo?

when i go to vacation i bring enough make up to last me a lifetime... i dont use it all but who knows what i might need!!!

oh man last time i went to the philippines, my makeup melted right off, i was mortified. invest in an oil-free moisturizer, LOTS of water to drink and STUDIO FIX powder. and since you're there, i'd bring an umbrella around LOL. its normal to carry around your own "shade" from the light there anyway. HAVE FUN AND TAKE PICS! where in the pinas are you going to hit up?

im sooo jealous i've always wanted to do that... i was thinking of going to PI next year for some family reunion... then after the reunion travel around but at work i can only request 2 weeks vacation during the summer!!! and i dont wanna travel ALL the way there for ONLY 2 weeks!

as far as brush.. i dont use studio fix powder.. but i would think if ur going all over u can use the poof thingy so its easier in ur purse!... for all my powders i use this brush from bare escentuals called heavenly face brush! its my HG face powder brush!..
