Tree Frog!!!

One of my male co-workers, who is actually somewhat interested in what I've been doing with my eyes lately, said this morning, "Nah.. I don't like that." Which is fine. But then he said, "It looks like a tree frog." LMAO! So, I told him THANK YOU because he gave me my title for today.

My lining was perfect last night when I played, of course. Still getting used to the 266 brush and the fluidline. I'm hoping it will get better. My first attempt at "wings," too. Meh.

I know my brows need work, seriously. I'm trying, but my tweezers just won't grasp some of those individual hairs enough to pull them out!

Other than that, I like it today! It's quite bright for me, and I keep getting comments, but that's okay.

hihi tree frog - i agree with that, the impression fits, but i like it, very colorfull. and the wings are great, need to do it once.

and i am jealous, i couldnt handle fyrinnae stuff - the colors came out muddy, brownish, strange - what are you doing and i am not..? hmpf!

I really like this look! I think you are rocking these greens! But Ya know though you could say I am a Vegas showgirl locked in a Administrative Assistant's body,. LOL. They probably just make commets because you dont wear a lot of brights,.. at my work they are used to it and now only comment if they specifically like the combo.

And as for "wings" I find that if you get a really nice thin angled brush and start from the "point" of the wing and then stroke in toward the eye,.. mine come out a lot better.

Thanks, everybody! The comments don't bother me, really. I don't care if everybody doesn't like it. Hell, sometimes *I* won't like what I'm doing, but I'm gonna keep doing it. I think the bright colors are fun and expressive!

Thanks!! You know, that makes a lot more sense. I did the top wing with my 266 brush and fluidline, but I didn't do it the way you said. I will try that next time.

Haha, well *I* like it, if it's worth anything. And if you're having trouble lining with the 266, try the 208 brush. It's thinner, smaller and makes lining soooo much easier, I can't do it with the 266.

Thanks, Amaranth! When I was trying to decide which one to buy, I considered this one, but it's labeled as a "brow" brush, so I wondered if it might be too stiff for me or something. I really like the 266. It makes lining a lot easier for me than it was before, BUT... it's really easy to get your line too thick, too! I have the 208 on my wish list now!

Julie... I just cant get over how much you are improving! I LOVE LOVE LOVE this!!! The colors are wonderful and your blending... its out of this world! Good luck with getting the "wing thing" down. It took a very long time for me to get it but eventually... you'll get the hang of it! I think its awesome that youre experimenting with colors like this too... Soooooo PRETTY!!!!
