Trickle Down Application?

Greetings All~

Just a general question:

I have been putting on my eyeshadows from the brow to the lid...for YEARS! After looking through some other websites, and especially the tutorials here, I have noticed that many people apply their eyeshadow in the opposite direction.

Is there an advantage either way? What are the pros and cons of each?

I voted both way, cos if I use a highlighter under the browbone I start under the brow blending it to the lid. If I want a color on my lid, I start there.

It's all about where you want the color to be bold and where being blended. And I rarely apply one e/s on the whole lid anyway

Hmm.. I guess I always start at the lid, b/c I always begin with bare canvas as a base.

i actually dont do either really. i do lid, then brow bone, then crease! i do it that way so that it blends inbetween better

I don't really do from the brow to the lid but often times I will start with my highlighter color first and then go back to the bottom of the lid. Sometimes I even work from the outter corners in or inner to the outter.
