try-on pacs?

I swear I did a search as I assumed someone has to have asked this in the past... but anyway...
How often does MAC do the sample pack thing? I love getting a staple moisturizer or whatever, and having a little pack of samples to try. 8)

Is this only around certain times of the year, and does anyone know if they'll do it again soon?

I think they completely discontinued them since I havent seen them around for a while at my counter/store and at the website!
Pretty sad since I really liked the sets and I reach for the Fast Response Eye Cream and Studio Moisture Cream pretty often!
