I used to have red hair. Actually, I had BEAUTIFUL red hair. About a year and a half ago I dyed my hair black and then I desperately wanted to go back to red so I bleached my hair by myself which ruined my long beautiful hair and now I have short hair. I had red hair for a year after that whole damage. Around April I decided to just go back to my natural black color because since my hair was still damaged you could always tell... now I feel like my hair is in better condition and I want to go back to red. I have not dyed it black for about 4 months, but whenever I dye it red my roots are the only thing that come out red. I know I have to bleach it again, but this time I will go to a professional. Any ideas? I have to try the Mexican products because those are the ones that got my red fiery red in the first place.
