Trying to widen my colour range --stuck in a rut

Hi Everyone,

I need some advice for new eyeshadow colours. I'm NC20/Classic Ivory/MUFE20/EDM Fawn/ with medium-brown eyes and dark hair. As of now I'm stuck to wearing browns/pinks/purples because everything else looks off on me.

I CAN NOT pull off greens or blues (both which are highly reccomended for brown eyes) for the life of me.

As well, I find that most of you guys do your lovely eyemakeup all the way up to your eyebrows. Looks great on here but not so great on me. I also dont have alot of lid space, my brows are low (erm..my eyebrow is ON my browbone...I dont have any hair above my browbone? if that makes sense) and i dont have a deep crease either.

Hey, we're almost the same.

Same shade, eye color, eye "type".

Anyways, I love greens on me. Gorgeous. But if you think you can't pull that off, then give silver and greys a try. I love them too. Try Shroom with smoke and diamonds and a bit of knight divine to give you that depth. Greys are really easy to pull off, cause you can pair any shade with them. I've tried greys with pink, blue, green, gold/yellow and purple.

you are pretty neutral like me, so i don't see why you cant wear every color

i have the same eyeshape as you and i don't put shadow all the way to my browbone, i'd love to show you but thats kinda hard... perhaps look for tutorials on youtube. there are TONS

i think what would also help is if you go to MAC and get some makeovers done. they can teach you to fill in your brows and eyeshadow placement. for you, i think its more of a matter of technique rather than colors because you'd look fab in any color =)

I have the same eye shape as you, small lower lids with no crease area. I look real bad in blues and greens but recently found i look real good in emerald green. I also love deep blue green pigment. I have to wear the dark tones and was very surprised when I tried the emerald green look from a video someone did here and youtube. Have you tired the darker tones like forest green, deep blue green & emerald green pigments ? I'll try and find that tutorial and paste it here, it is so good and I was shocked it looked good on me.
