Turning powder eyeshadows to cremes: any suggestions?

I find creme formulations much easier to apply and blend than powder, and I have a lot of powder eyeshadows that I wish I could convert to creme eyeshadows. I have tried mixing them with foundation, but that makes the color look too muddy, and using moisturizer makes them too greasy. Would any of the mixing mediums work for this? I'm thinking this one http://www.macpro.com/templates/prod..._ID=PROD7 782 might work, but it may have the cause the same problems as foundation and moisturizer. Does anyone have experience with this? Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

i've never tried to add foundation to my eye shadows, but the mixing medium sounds like a better option even tho i've never tried it!
if you do try that, let us know the results please
