Two different eye looks @ the same time

I'm not sure if this is the right place to ask this...

What do you guys think of doing one eye one color, and the other eye another color?
I've seen this done before, one eye was a smokey dark blue, and the other was a smokey dark green. It looked cool, not bad, and you could tell there was something different

I've also seen a smokey eye, black on the lid going up to white underneath the brow, and the other eye was the opposite (black under the brow going into white on the lid)

what do you guys think of this?

It might be kind of neat for a nighttime clubbing kind of thing, but I definately think as a daytime look it would just look like you'd gone out with half your face different than the other.

It sounds wacky but cool. I could see someone doing it for photos, but not everyday, which is not to suggest that you shouldn't try it.

I've seen Kat Von D. do this and I think it looks terrible. Just silly and mis-matched. It's cool in theory but once it's on it just looks, sloppy.

I think it needs to look obvious that that's what you're going for, like in your second example. Otherwise, it looks like you messed up and accidentally chose two different colors.

Depending on what you do for work and all, it's a better night time/theatrical look than a daily look.

Truly, I think you'd just look like the person was completely mental. Cool in theory, impossibly bad in execution. I'd like to see someone on this forum try it tho... LOL

I think Kat Von D has her own style and I totally admire her for that. She is in a business where it is awesome to express yourself like that. If you like it go for it. Dont give a damn what others think. BTW....didn't one of the models representing the Ornamentalism collection from MAC have two diff color eye looks. I wouldn't put MAC down for doing that....afterall...they are the experts as far as i am concerned. I personally feel it is very artistic.

That's what I am getting at, being cool in theory.. as in artistic... just not for real life execution. But to each their own.. if you can rock a look, go for it. I just personally would not want to explain my artistic intentions to every dang person who asked me about it--and you know there'd be a lot of people asking

I feel the same way about Kat and about MAC but I still think that look is a total flop.

I don't like the look, it doesn't work, not even for clubbing.

Maybe for a photoshoot or something similar, but I don't think that's what the original post intended.
