Here's my 2 week Axxium update. If you missed the 1 week update, you can check it out here.
Aside from the regrowth, they look pretty good! The tips of my nails have gotten like, microscopic snags that I've had to pick off, but I haven't broken a nail which is big for me considering how weak and thin my nails were when I got the manicure in the first place. So because of the snags, there are a couple of uneven spots on certain nail tips, but not all of them.
Normally I'm a picker. I pick my nails and I pick the skin around them. Not my cuticles, really, just the skin around my nails on my fingers. And one of the reasons I always had acrylics on was because for some reason, when I had them on, I would never pick or bite at my hands. I hoped that with the gel I would be the same way, but so far, no Granted it's not as bad as it has been before, and I don't know why that is. Maybe partially related to the manicure, or maybe just a phase or non-phase that I'm in. Who knows. But that's no bueno.
I'll definitely get the manicure redone, but I want to try to wait for the part of my finger that I picked at to heal up first, because acetone on that would kiiiiiill. But, we'll see. They're looking kind of haggard with the regrowth, and I want to get my nails trimmed and shaped now that they aren't tiny little stubs from having to cut so much off after I took of my acrylics.
On to the pictures!
