Hiya beauty lovers! I just wanted to let out to some people who could appreciate it and not just see me having a useless tantrum over a lipstick. Now I went to Shu Uemura to pick up the matte PK355, and I wanted a sheer pink/coral, so I hand the PK355 in my hand which she tried on, which also the SA put all out my lips but she was lovely and friendly and the colour was beautiful!
Then on my journey home, I realised she sold me PK335 which looked different in the tube, and I put it down to different lighting so i swatched it on my hand and it was totally different! Sparkles, pale and frosty...and I was really annoyed because I don't live close by to a counter. At first I thought it was just me being silly, because I thought I had both lipsticks in my hand with the same number.
So I called her up when I was home, only for her to say that was the right one she put through the cashier, well of course she would put through PK335 through the cashier, but that was not the one I tried. She was adamant I tried on PK335, and I said I wanted the sheen supreme PK355, which then she took it as I did not want the matte PK355 but the glossier lippy...It was so frustrating! The SA then said I can post back to store the matte unused, but that was not my issue. And I cannot do anything about the PK335 because it has now been used...ahhh!! I know it is only a lipstick, but still it affects me because I travelled ages to this city, and picked a colour and spent my money and she gave me the wrong thing.
It is the second time it has happened to me from Shu Uemura. I know the SA was new, but I am also a makeup artist in a store and I always check the bullet and the packaging just in case this happens...I obviously made a mistake in not checking.
Has this happened to anyone else? How do you stop thinking about it?
