Hi girls!

This is my first post here on board. But I read many threads since a few weeks. This board is 1a!

Perhaps you can help me out with the decision about what to do with my hair in the next time. Shall I leave it all blonde or more brown?
To make it easier I will post some photos of my current and past hair colors and also some pix of colors I reall like.
What would you think fit best for me? True opinions, please!
I also welcome suggestions on a new cut, if that would be better for my face!
(Oh, and sorry for my bad english.. I am from Germany...;-))

Here are the pix of me (number 1 is my current color):

and here some colors I like:

I am very excited on your comments!

thanks,
sabrina

Hallo! Guten Tag, wie gehts? (I'm not German, but I lived there for a year in Hanau, close to Frankfurt.)

I am obsessed with Germany, I am actually studying the language independantly, but it is hard to learn when you live in the US.

Ok, about your hair... I think you look great blonde, but super blond, not dirty blonde. I also like the brunette on you because it brings out your eyes... it is more of a sultry, matured look. Have you considered highlights?

Also you seem like you have fairly thick hair, especially in the 2nd photo with the layers. I think if you used a flat iron in that pic, it would tone down the fluffiness.

I particularly like the last photo because your hair is swept off your face. Is your natural part on the side? Have you tried a part in the middle or bangs?

You really like Germany? I also guess that Germany is as boring as hell. Nothing so special about here. Except f the very big cities like Berlin or Hamburg! Have you ever been there? But Stuttgart is also okay. What did you do there for one year?

As I am not sure, if you understand what I wrote in the first lines (in german): THANK YOU for answering on my thread and giving me some suggestions.

You said you like super blonde on me and not a dirty blonde. Is super blonde= platinum blonde like Paris Hilton? (sorry for this stupid question)!

Oh yes, and I thought about highlights. Did you mean highlights in my current hair color (picture 1) or did u think of coloring my hair perhaps brunette and putting in some highlights then?

Oh yeah, I often TRIED to use a flat iron, but it doesn´t come out very well. I got very dry hair and it looks very damaged when I straighten them with a flat iron. My hair routine is to dry them with a big round brush ("Rundbürste") (don´t know the exact english word)!

Most of the time I wear my hair on the side. Don´t know the word for "Seitenscheitel". So I will post a pic oft that! ;-)

What do you mean with "trying a part in the middle" ?

I thank you so so much for answering!

Liebe Grüße und ich bringe dir gerne ein wenig Deutsch bei hier!

thanx girls!!! do you think it must be a complete brunette or do you think it would also be ok if I color them in a ´light brown and doing blonde highlights?
by the way: my boyfriend loves the total brown color on me, but I feel not that good with it. So I am trying to find a middle way!!!!

I think you look best with brown hair. Try a dark and rich chocolate brown. Brown warms your face up while blonde kind of washes you out. All brown colors look better when they are dark. Light/mousy browns looks very dull.

Sabrina!! Ich liebe Deutschland!

I lived there throught the US Army based in Hanau, DE. It was close to Frankfurt, and I got into the electronic music scene. I love European culture and architecture. I'm actually NOT German. I'm Filipino.
lol.gif
BUT I was adopted from there by an English mother who was born in Gozo. Long story. But I've always been fascinated by Europe. Once I was stationed in Germany, I was in love!! I wish I knew what they were all saying though, so I bought a German book. I am not fluent at all, but I know the simple sayings. Like "Vielen Dank", is thanks a lot, right??

I often find myself talking in an English/German combo. It doesn't make any sense, but it does to me.
lol.gif

Trying a part in the middle, I meant by parting your hair in the middle instead of the side. Does that make sense? Anyways, I think the dark brown w/ caramel highlights would look super on you!

Viel Gluck! (Was that right?)

Ciao!
Katja (I changed my real name to the German equivalency, which is Katherine, Kate, etc.)

And I've never been to Berlin, but I believe I went to Hamburg... the place with the Tunnel club? I think it was in Hamburg.
