Underground by Rimmel London

I saw the new line when I was flipping through this month's issue of Teen Vogue (listed as being availible at H-E-B, Longs, Meijer, and Wegmans).

Ulta has some of their new stuff too... but I'm wondering how it is compared to other products in the brand.

Colors look very cool though. The colors and look of the line reminds me of the reformulated MaxFactor.

Target has recently redone their cosmetic area and they now include this line as well - they seem to have it the cheapest that I've seen so far, but then again, at Ulta they're bound to do BOGO. I was wondering as well if anyone has tried any of the products, especially the 'different' ones. I'm kind of cheap and while it isn't exactly expensive I wouldn't mind a few reviews before I bought anything!

I saw it at Longs and thought one of the lipgloss shades was pretty nice, but for $8? MM too much for drugstore I think.

I just bought the Gloss Over in Hot to Trot (shades of gold and orange glitter lipgloss). It's nice, same good Rimmel quality.

I have the lipgloss palette that looks like the on that pop beauty makes (in stripes) and thats ok.doesnt last very long. but the tubes the have are gross. the perfume in them is so powerful its fine if you dont like the taste of old lady perfume. also the creme shadow is ehh.

I noticed this new brand at my local Wallmart, I do agree the price point isn't great for a drug store brand....

I bought several items at Ulta and I really do like them. Except the gloss that looks like Pop Beauty's....not so much. I do like the eye gloss (I bought the pink one) and I bought 2 black and 2 brown fat liners. They say they are shadows but I use them as liners. They remind me of Too Faced Lava Matte. They just glide on. And I bought 3 of the STIR IT UP shadows which you swirl around and they have some glitter in 'em. I REALLY like this stuff. They also have some glosses that have a light in them. Pretty nifty huh? I am going to re-post and show you all a pic of these items.

I think the concept is really cool, but the products seem sloppily designed. The colour selection seems odd to me. Half the products are vibrant but the other half are super boring. The jumbo eyeliners come in gorgeous shades, but they crease and smear in a matter of minutes even with a good primer. There's about 20 lipsticks, all in a sheer shimmery formula and far too many of them are berry shades. Some of the lipglosses look really bright, but nearly every single one is sheer. There wasn't any testers, but the shadows and blushes looked chalky. The cream shadows came in nice colours and seemed to have decent stay power, but they had chunky glitter in them.
So yeah, it should have been a great line, but I'm completely unimpressed.

In the green/black/pink 3sum (naughty I think..) I found that the green had the best colour pay off, as the black wasn't too black and the pink barely showed up on my skin.

In the blue/white/red 3sum (raw) all the colours were very chalky and didn't blend evenly. The blue was almost black, the white had a slight red tinge to it, and the red was pretty much the same as MAC Coppering e/s..

Packaging is cool ... I think that's mainly why I bought a few things! But overall, I'm not that impressed. I'm trying to trade them out ... :/

Oh wow! Just like Lava Matte you say? Everytime I go in Sephora that is sold out in black. I'm going to try this eyeliner when I see it in the store.

How do you use the eye gloss? Just by itself on your eyelid?

I want to try that pot of lipstick/gloss in the 'Sin' shade...I read in a magazine it's supposedly a nice sheer red that looks great on any skintone.
