Urban Decay Universal Powder?

Has anyone figured out how to use that strange little puff that comes with it? It seems like a stupid question. I got the powder to come through the puff by banging it on my hand, but unless I bang it on my face (ow!) I can't seem to get it to give me any coverage.

Ideas? (I know I could just use a brush, but I was wondering how they thought we would use the puff.)

Hi, I prefer to undo the lid and to dip a brush inside, it's easier
