And drinkable tea too :]

I stopped doing my makeup for a while because I was lazy and uninspired. Here's the first after my break, which was, understandably, a bit shoddy!

Love how you did all your looks. Never underestimate the potential Magic of certain "cheapy" products....some, I swear by.

Love how you used *Entremauve*. It is my favorite piggie in the whole wide world!

"Chippy tea"

Before I lived in England, I had no idea "tea" was a meal. In fact, I remember having Strongbow Cider for "Tea" once, when I was 1st there (August 2001), along with fish & chips, I was like, "Why do they call this tea?" I was so ignorant....had previously thought I was so worldly lol

Hubby's parents came over later, & around 8:30 PM, I think; we had "supper," including tea/hot chocolate & some biscuits (cookies, sort of)

Growing up here in upstate NY, when I was a little girl, " Supper" was a word interchange-able with "dinner," which was around the same time as "tea" is in England! So tell me, please (I do know I sound stupid
ssad.gif
"Tea" is the late afternoon meal, "dinner" is usually the mid-Day type meal (altho some folks call it "lunch" there)....yes? After 4 years of living in the West Midlands, I should be clear on it.

*~*I guess my ?? is: is it the same all over England? We lived in a little town in The Black Country of the West Midlands, near Birmingham (I call it "Mordor," as Tolkein lived there & based part of his Lord of the Ring trilogy on the area . My husband's people are working-class, humble people, & his parents & other older people reminded me, in many charming ways, of what the Victorian era may have been like...

Have you ever had a "chip butty" ? Yummy!! How about crisps on a cob (breadroll, but called "cobs" where we lived because the rolls, newly baked, looked like the cobblestone streets which used to be part of Halesowen, West Midlands...Hubby loves "cob & crisps".

A whole ramble, inspired by the title & post of your beautiful face & makeup talent. You are very, very pretty! Your skin makes me so jealous, in its flawlessness. Your eyes look incredible, especially that liner. For some reason, it was only in England when I began to become even deeper friends than ever with black eyeliner....(maybe cos my husband has a million Siouxsie Sioux CDs, (& assorted others.)

What a ramble. Sorry! But maybe other people don't know, just as I didn't, that "tea" may be a late afternoon/early evening meal.....

& Now we're in America, & I sometimes forget which are chips, which are crisps, & how to say tomato. Lately, I have caught my British hubby saying "potato chips" & calling his mid-Day meal "lunch." Makes me sad, as I don
't want him to lose anything about his identity.
My 4-yr-old is learning 2 different Englishes, as well as Spanish, lucky little boy

Thanks for posting & love to you & to England! xxCF

your liner's perfect i esp love the oen with the gold shadow! i like the straight hair to. i like it curly as well and having it down (curly or straight) frames your face nicely.
and the red looks good.
