i've never done this, although i suppose if you have a small eyeliner brush or small angled brow brush you could do this. i know some ppl use carbon and a brush to line. this may be of interest to you:

although i know that sometimes using shadows wet can cause them to get crusty and icky, so some ppl reserve a small section of their e/s for wet application and the rest for dry. hth!

The transforming potion ruined the surface of one of my e/s and burned my eyes. Maybe it was just me.

If you're going to be using a transforming potion, I would suggest loading the brush up with colour first. The putting a drop or two on your hand and mixing the brush and colour on your hand. That way you don't ruin your shadows and you can get a bold or sheer colour depending on how much of each item you use. You could also do the same with water or contact lens solution.

i use my shadows dry as liners and works fine. I just use my 266 brush as i would for my fluidline. As i sometime use it with the brush slightly damp but have heard mixed things about ruining shadows with water.

i use vaseline on an eyeliner brush then dip it in eyeshadow (usually pigment) because water lightens the colour and doesnt last!!

thanks girls..im defiantely not going to wet my brush and then dip it in the eyeshadows because the eyeshadow's texture changes. I'm in two minds about the UD thid. I think i might just going to pat the colour on the 266 brush and spray it with water..

*~*When I use shadow as a liner, I use my 266 brush...Also, If I line my lower lid, I put a thin line of UDPP where I want my line to be. That way the shadow sticks better!!! HTH

I like to use a very fine brush that you could get at any craft store/art supply, or Benefits bent eyeliner brush, and use water based mixing medium for 'transforming' my shadows to liquid liners

What I do is line my eyes first with a pencil then go over it with a matching shade of eyeshadow. This makes it stay put and it lasts all day. I use a soft angle brush to apply the eyeshadow.

I would suggest you try a little water or vaseline using something like the 208, 266 or a flat brush. Simply wet the brush and dip it into your shadow and apply the same way you would with fluidline.

I always use my shadows as liners. In fact I rarely use a real "liner" now

I use them dry most of the time with my 208 brush. Sometimes I'll use mixing medium the way frocher said if I want the look to be a little more intense.

I do this all the time. I use my 266. I wet the brush with water (not soaking wet) and just use a little part of the es pan for any water contact. It lasts forever on me. No problems. I'll use it dry if I'm lining the lower water line.
