Valentine's Day

ok so for the first year ever, i have a boyfriend for valentine's day...im super stoked for it, but since ive never had one in the past i dont know what i should do for him...he told me hes doing something cute for me and i juSs wanna do something cute for him ya know? so any idea would be greatly appreciated! also, we dont go to the same school so i cant go ALL out...thanks again!

Well, all I can do is offer to tell you what I'm doing for my husband on Vday(which is also our wedding anniversary).
I got him 2 band t-shirts(my bloody valentine and the jesus & mary chain), a new pair of shoes(vans), a border's gift certificate, and made a customised box of chocolates for him at Godiva. We're also ordering in from one of the nice Italian restaurants around here and sharing a good bottle of wine.

So I can suggest things like that, maybe?

Same here, this is my first time having a boyfriend for Valentine's Day. I live in New Jersey and my boy goes to school in Connecticut, so today I sent him a package...chocolate chip cookies, v-day-themed sugar cookies, a mix CD, a hand-made card, a copy of one of my favorite poems (i carry your heart, by e.e. cummings), and a couple of goofy pictures of me. This is what I'm doing for my bubba:


Since Valentines Day is on a Tuesday, I'm going to get the day off & not tell him. Monday after I finish work, he has footy. I made him some chocolates in heart shaped ice moulds, & I'm going to wrap them in white & red tissue paper & celophane & ribbon and write on the bottom (inside) of the tissue paper a reason I love him, for each chocolate. Plus in addition to this, I'm going to buy bacon, eggs & a rose and smuggle them to his house when he picks me up after footy.

I'll stay at his on Monday night, he'll be thinking he's taking me to work in the morning because Mon & Tues are his days off. This is just normal routine so far. Hopefully he'll suspect nothing!

I'll wake up before him on Tuesday as always, him thinking I'll be getting ready for work, but I'll sneak off and make him breakfast in bed, served with a rose in my mouth in my finest pair of trackies and bed hair. Then I'll tell him that I have the day off and maybe we can go to the movies [lame, but its part of the plan].

After brekkie, I'll tell him we need to stop by my house so I can get changed ["all I have is work clothes" muahah] where I will change into a super sexy outfit that I had planned the night before including pink & black lingerie underneath. I will also grab the chocolate plus a packed picnic [choc dipped strawberries, his favourite beer Asahi, and some cupcakes and nachos] & cute blankie. I will smuggle this all into my big bag & tell him he can't see his pressie til after the movie.

When we get to the movies @ Southbank, I'll ask him if we can go for a walk and we'll find a nice little grassy area and I'll take everything out and set it up & surprise him again! Then after brunch I'll give him the choccies & tickets to see Jarhead & we'll go to the movies. Then maybe go back home for a nap then out to dinner [his part...if he is going to do anything at all, he wouldve thought I had to work Tuesday so he wouldnt plan anything for the day]

Then after dinner, put to good use the stuff I learned from Carmen Electra and then sleep!

Hope he likes it. He's worth so much more to me than I could ever tell or show him. <3

im not getting my boyfriend anything - well a card - i'm broke and we've been together two years.. money isnt coming in since i work for no pay lol so us and a bunch of other couples are going to dinner on tues night
