Vampire-Esque Makeup?

Hi there, I'm trying to figure out how I'm going to do my makeup when I go to the twilight movie premiere. I was talking to a few people and they said that I should try to do vampire-ish makeup, but I'm kind of confused on what that would be, so any suggestions would be appreciated!

If you want to go as a Twilight vampire, try to lighten your skin tone as much as you can, powder and dont' use blush to make you look almost statue like. Skip the blush and just contour and highlight, use some MAC Vanilla Pigment or a MUFE Star Powder For Highlighting to give the illusion of effect the sun has on their skin.

Darken your lids and line your undereye with a violet lilac matte powder to give the illusion of dark circles because you haven't fed in a while.

Use amber like contacts or red, depending on your mood.

Stain your lips with a red lip stain and give it a bit of a pout with some gloss.

Hope this helped.

Just an idea to go with the vampire thing, if you want to have the effect of being a "sparkly" vampire, a good idea would be to use Strobe Cream or Strobe Lotion. Those give a fantastic iridescent glow to the skin, which would probably strengthen any highlight you put near your face.

Past that, everything that Kiseki said will probably work fabulously. An idea with the undereye area could be to use a really full blending brush and take a tiny bit of a matte violet/purple and go underneath your eye for the dark circles.

Strobe Cream/Lotion is a fabulous suggestion.

MAC Iridescent Loose Powder in Silver Dusk would also give a surreal shimmer to the skin.
