I've been lurking about here for a while now, and I've decided to finally bare my odd little face to you all

This is subtle makeup for daytime, but of course you all know it was a lot darker/brighter than it looks in the pictures. Pay no mind to my big nose and my sad tiny little lashes

I used:
Face:
Lancome Maquicomplet complete coverage concealer
Lancome Dual Finish powder makeup in Matte Clair II
Milani blush in Luminous
Some drugstore bronzing/shimmering face powder
Physician's Formula Mineral Wear loose powder in Translucent Light (all over)

Eyes:
MAC shadestick in Beige-ing for a base
Milani Sheer Sand e/s all over lid and to line lower lid
MAC Shale e/s in crease
Milani Java Bean e/s in crease and outer V
Maybelline pencil liner
Lash Exact mascara in black

Lips:
Milani Lip liner in Most Natural
Lancome Rouge Absolu Creme lipstick in Amande Sucree
L'Oreal Colourjuice lipgloss in Golden Splash

(I know it looks like the liner is way darker than the lipstick but IRL it didn't look like that at all.)

Thanks for constructive criticisms (I especially need to learn how to put on liquid eyeliner because pencils never look right!) and please be gentle! I'm pretty new at makeup in general

the makeup is lovely.
Re: liquid liner...it's practice, having q-tips on hand to clean up, and more practice!

Whatever! You have seriously beautiful eyes and your face is perfectly fine. Your MU is very good! Definitely keep posting.

Hmm,.. the only thing that I might do differently if I were applying it would be to line your top lip just outside of the lipline to make it more even with the fullness of your bottom,.. but that is just an aesthetic thing,..and I agree with Shimmer about liquid liner,.. its hard to do,.. and I certainly cannot do it with those felt tip thingies,....just brushes and Q-tips,..

Thanks you guys!!

I am grateful for the suggestions too. I will try the lining outside the lips trick next time!! And I will try to put on liquid eyeliner for my next look and just use qtips to clean up

Thanks again for the help!!

Have you ever been told that you look like Annie Lenox?!! It's impressive really

You've got the same beautiful face, and your makeup is really nice.

I only suggest to put your blush a little bit higher, right on the apples of your cheeks and blend towards your temples. This to avoid flattening out your face (on the pic, it seems a little too low).

For the liner, try to put some with a small angle brush like the 266, it really helps to draw a perfect line. But it needs some practice as everyone said.
I think the fluidlines work the best, their formula is easy to apply (no risk of running down as liquid liners) and the texture is so nice (kind of a silky effect).

Keep posting, hope to see other pics of you!
