vex vs. electra

Hey! I want to buy a silver-ish eyeshadow and I'm having a hard time deciding between vex and electra. I have hazel eyes and brown hair and NC20 skin...which of the two eyeshadows do you prefer? Thanks!

vex is more of a silvery green.....it's kinda hard to explain this color but i LOVE this color.

it's a duochrome, so depending on which angle you're looking at the application, it can look silvery green, or a pink.

i use this color for everything. for highlighting, for point make up, as a base, or as a color i apply on top of colors. =D

I love Vex, too. Haven't tried Electra, but Vex is very versatile IMO because of the duochrome already mentioned. It does tend to apply better for me when I use my finger...I don't know why!

i agree. whenever i apply vex or motif (another great duochrome a lot of people love to hate on which i love) i don't use any of the brushes, i use my fingers as well.

the color shows up really well when applied with my fingers. i think b/c the fingers are flat surfaces so it really packs on the colors.

Funny because I hate Vex

For me it's the fact that it ISN'T just one colour that pisses me off.

I like Electra although it can tend to look a little bluey on me.

To me vex isn't a silver. If you want silver go with electra. If you want a highlighter go with vex.
