so i've never dyed my hair ever before (minus the endless summers with sun-iin). so lately i've had the idea to dye my hair and once its an idea i refuse to let go until its done. so the dilema is that i don't know what color to dye it. im asian so i have dark thick hair. its kinda like a modern day girls mullet with lots of layers. so here are some ideas i had floating around: goldenish highlights, light brown bottom layering, blonde bottom layering, or just random blonde chunks peeking through the layers...any ideas or suggestions would really help thanks alot!

That sounds cool. few quwstions, would you consider your natrual hair color black or dark brown? If you say dark brown, carmel tones of blonde would look hot too. but if you want funky colors go with bleach, and then condition the hell outta your hair. have fun.

I agree with the above poster. I've had my hair from lt blonde to dk brown to light brown and bk to light blonde. and a million different shades of blonde in between. It is a fortune to keep up with and I go to my stylist every friday religiously for a deep conditioning treatment (they are much better than any at home ones) and I now get highlights every 6-8wks and I get a mini trim (about 1/4-1/2 inch) every 4-5 wks. I have to do all this just to keep my hair in DECENT conditon. And my natural hair color was pretty light to start with I'm actually Dark Blonde naturally. So black hair to get bleached will be pretty fried imo. You will be constantly conditioning your hair! Be Careful and don't rush into a decision just because you want a new hair color today, you will be dealing with it alot more afterwards!
