i just got one, unfortunately the person i really wanted to chat with's internet time ran out right before i got it installed.

the time difference between here and iraq suucks. anyways though, it's totally addictive. does anyone else here have one? love it, hate it?

Webcams really helped my long distance relationship, it makes such a big difference when you can see the other person. It's like you're right there with them sorta.

I love my webcam for talking to friends & family. Especially ones overseas - whom I do not get to see often - I use Skype with my webcam and it's great! It's so much better than just your average chat. And we can talk for ages and it doesn't cost a penny.

I love my webcam

It helps my relationship with my long distance bf. He gets to see me for hours everyday and feels like he is with me. He is camera shy and will only let me see him occassionally but we talk all the time, so its all good

I had to fight with my long distance boyfriend to even get a cell phone. Last November he realized he was going to be away from home for shift work for 10 days on, 4 days off. His idea was just that we wouldn't talk for 10 days. *arghhh* So while I would love to webcam with him, after winning the cell phone battle I'm just going to save my ass-kicking skills for something that's a bigger deal for me.

I do webcam with my cousins in France though, which rocks because I almost never get to visit with them.

I love my webcam. My bf and I aren't that long distance (its an hr drive between us) and we see each other every weekend, but its fun to use on weekdays

I have one and I rarely ever use it, though I think I should start; for sending videos of the baby home to my family if nothing else.
