I'm still practicing my wedding MU. I'm getting married this saturday!
NERVOUS!!!

I see that
1)I'll need more powder to stop me frow shining all over
2) my blush (gorgeous plum rose in the pan) looks like mud!
I have this thing that no matter what blush I'm using it changes into mud on my face.

Any recs?

TIA!!!

You look beautiful. You may try a more pure pink blusher if you want it less earth colored. Maybe MAC dollymix or the porcelain pink mineralize skin finish by MAC.

You look stunning! Enjoy your big day!

Are you wearing foundation? I agree you need a little bit more powder, but also some more coveravge like foundation or just some bronzer or something (just my opinion). And I also agree with the coment above that I would tone down the liner on the bottom. And one more thing that could be just the camera lighting, but your brows look a little bit light, maybe you could darken them up with a shadow or brow powder.

Hope all goes well, but your on the right track!!

THE MSF IS GREAT. I THINK POCELAIN PINK WOULD LOOK GREAT ON U BECAUSE U ALREADY HAVE THE PINKISH COLOR TO UR CHEEKS. I ALSO THINK YOU MIGHT WANT TO USE FOUNDATION (IF UR NOT) FOR A LITTLE MORE COVERAGE AND I DEF. AGREE ON THE LINER. ESPECIALLY BECAUSE IT IS UR WEDDING AND LETS HOPE U DONT CRY OR NETHING... LOL. BUT U LOOK SO CUTE... AND CONGRATS ON THE WEDDING!!!

i disagree with everyone else about using a MSF.... i think in pictures, it will make you look shiney... and also, i was told by my best friend who is a mac MA that when she does wedding makeup she never uses a studio fix or some sort of specific full coverage makeup because i guess in professional photos it will make your face look whiter than the rest of you because some sort of light deflectors in the foundation/powder?

so be careful on your coverage. i personally like the coverage you are using... you dont want to look too DONE and plus you will be hugging a lot of people and you dont want the makeup to be smearing all over everyone :x

I think you look dewey not shiny and you don't need full coverage so hyper real foundation be good. And yeah the msf's are great for a glow, stereo rose and porcelain pink are pretty, but only use a little swipe or so!!! and use a whitening brush wand for your teeth all it's set ^_^

Have you thought of using a blushcreme? That will help HOLD your blush color throughout the day....

I personally really like Ladyblush...or Pleasureful...they are lovely pinks...and then you could do just a light bit of the creme blush and then after powdering, put on just a bit of powder blush...like Dollymix to set the blush to stay all day!

Works wonders on me! And if you don't overdo it (par usual for anything makeup related!) it will look awesome on you!

face & body is the BEST foundation for wedding photos. are you getting B&W photos? def. add some blush or bronzer.. why not go into mac and tell them what your looking for, and have them try out some different colors on you??

p.s. maybe darken/fill in your brows a TINY bit?

CONGRATS!!!!!!

I think your eyes are absolutely perfect.

If you're think your blush is too muddy looking, try something like Heather_Rae said, that's pure pink and doesn't have brown tones (like plum will have). Try an MSF but put it on and take a few snap shots to see if the look is too shiney for you.

As far as foundation/powder goes, just stay away from anything with SPF in it.

And an early congrats on your wedding!

I agree, you need a little more color on your cheeks b/c the rest of your face is very neutral. I am in the same boat as you, I'll be getting married in the next yr and I have no clue how to do my makeup. I've been thinking of getting my fav Mac artist to come to my house at any price....lol!!

If you have time, maybe you could get a Mac makeover and buy some of the products they use for the big day! Congratulations and enjoy your special day!!

OMG Congrats!! Tomorrow is the big day huh?
I agree with the rest of the girls, the skin finishes are awesome for that glowy look! I think your m/u is perfect as it is, but if you want a little bit of glow try them instead of blush!!
Good luck Tomorrow

I think its a good start. I would get the blot powder if ur worried about shine..it wont turn ur face white in pics....and i wouldn't recommend the MSFs for ur blush...maybe try one of the Cheekhues..try da da delight its a really pretty pink. I also agree that for the liner you should tone it down to maybe just the outer 1/3 of ur eye in a dark brown...to give that wide-eyed doe look. Anyways good luck, have fun, and CONGRATS!!! show us pics!!
