Today's Saturday, and it's a sunny and not so hot day in Paris (at last!). It gave me the idea to do a bright make-up this morning... so here it goes:

Face:
Select Cover-Up NW15&NW25
Lots of Avène concealer (to hide those nasty red spots that came early this morning... aaaaarrrgh!!)
Shiseido compact foundation

Cheeks :
A mix of Harmony & Wine (Shu Uemura)

Eyes:
Jest (as a wash & on brow bones)
Electric Eel (on lid)
Nocturnelle & Make Up Forever n° 49 (outer conner & in crease)
Surreal on top of Electric Eel (it's true, looks like Parott :nod

Maybelline Great Lash Mascara in black

Lips:
C-Thru l/g
Nivea gloss laquer in Lilac Glaze

Have a nice Saturday night everyone!

Pictureless FOTD 7/29 (Nordies counter)

This morning I went BACK to my Nordie's counter because it wouldn't be busy when it first opens AND because the manager would be there....I was disappointed with Thursday's visit because I feel that the MA seemed rushed & she applied Studio Fix Liquid in NC20 instead of NW20 and I looked VERY yellow on 1/2 of my face!

Anyhow...

I arrived with a freshly-washed face and a spritzing of Fix+ and that was all.

She used a 190 to apply Studio Moisture Cream to my entire face & applied Fast-Response Eye Cream to my eyes followed by some Select Cover in NW20 on my lids. She then swatched Studio Stick NW15 on one side and NW20 on the other, followed by an all-over dusting of MSF Naturals in Light.

I took a mirror and went outside to see how it looked in natural light and while both colors looked great, I chose NW15 because it was an ever-so-slightly better match.

She asked me if I wanted a complete "look" and I said "Sure!"....so she handed me a wipe to remove the NW20 side and she started over again.

She applied Phloof! from lash-to-brow; Satin Taupe on the crease; and Sable on the outer 1/3 of my lid and slightly up into the Satin Taupe. She then applied Prunella eye kohl on upper 2/3 and lower 3/4 of lash lines. Prep & Prime Lash was used, followed by two coats of Zoomlash in Zoomblack. For my brows, Omega eyeshadow was used.

She used Shimpagne MSF as a bronzer.

For lips, she used clear Lip Conditioner followed by Spice lipliner. From the A Muse collection she used 15 Minutes lipstick followed by Ciao, Manhattan! lipglass.

The end result was fabulous!

I bought MSF Naturals in Light, Ciao, Manhattan! & for my daughter I purchased Pink Poodle lipglass. I also received a generous sample of Studio Stick NW15 so that I could try it for several days. She's holding the 15 Minutes lipstick for me because I have LOTS of B2Ms to turn in.

I don't usually wear Frosts because of fallout, but I'm going to check my stash to see what I have to recreate the look with Veluxe Pearls, etc.

This is my sexual harrassment look:

face:
mac studiofix fluid nw20
blot powder
mk concealer
bare escentuals warmth on the cheek bones -forehead and chin bridge of nose
sweet william blush creme to the apples of the cheeks lightly

lipstick:
bamboo pink by clinique

Eyes:
cork on the brows
bare canvas paints
black track f/l on top
silverstroke f/l on bottom lashline
vex on the brow
satin taupe on the lid
knight divine on the crease and outer corner

this is a wonderful look for me, I have done the vex with satin taupe but adding the knight divine and silver fluidline its just hot. I wore it two days in a row I liked it so much. This look got me sexually harrassed at my temp job, ha ha...I like to give mac the credit.

Hmmm....I never would've thought to try Shimpagne over Warmth...or Glee, for that matter! I'm going to have to try that one day this week!

That sounds hot! Silverstroke f/l for lower liner sounds like an amazing idea! *taking notes*

I feel like I toned down a bit today colour-wise, except for my liner... we had a 1-month-old celebration for my husband's cousin and no-one else really wears makeup... sorry, I'm rambling now cuz I'm wiped from the day... let's get on with things!

Today's "going to the inlaws" look was:
(which my Mother in law couldn't believe my makeup didn't "melt" )
studio fix nw20
blot powder
concealer for the huge Zit on my cheek (feels like I'm sprouting a new head)

cheeks:
stereo rose lightly over the apples

eyes:
paint- bare canvas
f/l dipdown top lashline
f/l sweetsage bottom lashline
lash exact mascara by covergirl
bobbi brown bone (like mac vanilla) on the brow
mac omega on the lid

and a wash of bare escentuals bare skin (light mauvey shimmer shadow)

I liked how it turned out I kind of threw it together
